Charlie Hinkley
Charlie Hinkley is a guitarist based in the Kent and London area. He started playing guitar at the age of 13 – self-taught initially before taking professional lessons.
His love for the guitar came from listening to Rock music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and he realised early on that he wanted to make music for a living. He is now at a prestigious music school in London 'ELAM' where he met Kinetik’s drummer, Harley.
His musical influences include Oasis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, SRV, The Stone Roses, Queen and many more.
As an artist he has played in various festivals and gigs like Meadowfest, Rewind and the Looking List. He is also a part of a four-piece band, Kinetik, which plays rock and indie covers; the band also performs a growing number of original songs which are written by Charlie or Dylan (who have been close friends since childhood) or both together.
Charlie has collaborated with many artists across multiple genres and has a genuine passion for music and songwriting.
